Government watchdog finds neuro services are ‘well below’ standard
A crucial report on services for people with neurological conditions has been published by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the government spending watchdog, in response to the National Audit Office report into the state of neurological services.
The report says that neurology services are poorly coordinated, and has lacked national leadership. It makes a number of recommendations including the appointment of a national clinical director for neurology.
