Members’ meeting

Our members’ meeting brought together Chief Executives, regional representatives, service users and policy, public affairs and communication leads and corporate representatives from across our membership to discuss the main theme of the day: exploring neurology and primary care.

Chaired by Neil Bindermann from the Primary Care Neurology Society, we heard from a range of speakers including patients, providers, GPs and policy makers. We also ran breakout sessions to discuss what neurology patients want from primary care, and what actions we might take as an Alliance to ensure primary care better met the needs of neurology patients.

Please see below for speaker slide sets:
 Neil Bindermann, Primary Care Neurology Society
 Andrew Leach, Hampshire Neurological Alliance
 Lizzie Printer, Stroke survivor; Volunteer for Brain and Spine Foundation, Stroke Association and RNIB.
 Don Reading, Director of Policy, National Voices
 Prof Leone Ridsdale, Professor of Neurology and General Practice, Kings College London
 Sarah Marsh, Long Term Conditions Clinical Policy and Strategy Unit, NHS England
